Dorcas Yakubu was among 50 girls shown alongside a terrorist in the clip, which was released on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
“We have not heard from the government since the video was released; no one has reached out to Dorcas’ parents or the Chibok community and the funniest thing is that some people are busy defending the government,” spokesman for the Kibaku Area Development Association, Dr Manasseh Allen told Punch on Tuesday, August 16.
The video raised fresh global concern about the fate of the over 200 girls who were abducted on April 14, 2014.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian military has denied claims made by Boko Haram that it killed some of the girls during an air strike.
