The 2018 Winter Olympic Games will hold in Pyeongchang, South Korea from Friday, February 9 to Sunday, 25.

The Winter Olympics is not a popular event for Nigerians but the 2018 edition is expected to generate a lot of interest because of the historic participation of the Nigerian Bobsled team- the trio of  driver Seun Adigun and brakemen Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga- and Simidele Adeagbo who will be competing in the Skeleton event in Pyeongchang.

For this reason, The Winter Olympics was the focus at the maiden edition of Sport Business Forum put together by the management of sports communication and media coy CampsBay Media.

Speaking as panellists at the forum were Chichi Nwoko, the General Manager of Kwese Free Sports and Koye Sowemimo who is Head of Sports at Lagos-based Temple Management Company (TMC).

As head sports at TMC, Sowemimo has been managing the trio of Adigun, Onwumere and Omeoga who make up the Nigerian Bobsled Team.

At the forum, he gave insights on how the management team at TMC has managed and pushed the brand of the Nigerian Bobsled Team.

The panellists also answered questions about other aspects of their sport business.
