President didn’t order sale of presidential aircraft – Presidency

The Presidency has denied reports that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the sale of nine aircraft in the presidential fleet.

However, the President’s media aide, Garba Shehu, on Friday, June 19, 2015, denied knowledge of the directive, according to Premium Times.

“The story of the order for the sale of aircrafts in the Presidential Fleet, about which so much interest is being expressed, is not known to us,” Shehu said.

The presidential aide said further that the Presidency would issue an official statement if indeed such a sale was being planned.
