She passed away on October 3, 2016, following a brief illness, report says.

The comedian, now in an uplifted mood, took to Instagram on Sunday, November 27, 2016, to post pictures of the burial ceremony.

He was dressed in a white attire along with his family members.

"Goodbye Mum, you'll live in our hearts forever," he wrote.

The passing of his mother coincided with a time when a gang of thieves burgled his Lekki apartment.

According to reports, the police have apprehended the suspects and would soon charge them to court.
