Atiku resigns
In the early hours of Friday, October 24, 2017, former second man in Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar had officially resigned his membership with the ruling party, All Progressive Congress.
His resignation had raised several discourse from several quarters with many believing he's certain to return to his former party and opposition, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Buhari sidelined Atiku
Earlier in the year, Atiku had bitterly complained of how he had been sidelined in the President Buhari's administration maintaining that he was merely consulted on anything. He maintained that the government has failed the Nigerian people with major effect on the youths.
