After shaming his country following his car crash last week, Chilean midfielder, Arturo Vidal has pledged his Copa America wages to charity.
The pledge is a way to appease the citizens after he crashed his £230,000 red Ferrari while drunk driving.
Vidal was lucky not be kicked out of the Chile squad and played a part in the 5-0 victory over Bolivia.
Though he avoided a jail sentence, Vidal had his driving license revoked and must report monthly to the Chilean consulate in Milan under the terms of his release while investigations go on for 120 days.
Vidal admitted his mistake in a press conference cried and pleaded for forgiveness from his countrymen.
His agent Fernando Felicevich and eight of his Chile team-mates including Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Inter Milan's Gary Medel are currently working on which institution Vidal's donations will be made to.
