Stop intimidating our leaders – PDP tells APC

This is coming on the heels of reports that former Senate President, David Mark was recently invited and grilled by the EFCC over N5.4bn campaign funds allegedly traced to him.

Mark interrogated for seven hours while his international passport was seized on Monday, December 18, 2017, Punch reports.

Speaking on the issue, the PDP chairman, Uche Secondus said “APC should stop intimidating our leaders. We will no longer take it, enough is enough. They don’t need to attack us, they should fulfil what they promised us. Enough of this, we are not in a military era.

“What I am telling them is that God is not sleeping. When the time comes, the people will speak through their votes. “We handed over freely in 2015 and they should be prepared to handover to us. No amount of intimidation will distract Nigerians.

“We will obey our Constitution, this is the only way we can perform. We will obey you (BoT members). We will checkmate impunity. We will find time to organize a retreat for BoT. We will not fail you. Power will come power and go.

David Mark allegedly collected money from Dasuki

According to reports former Senate President David Mark allegedly collected N5.4b from the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki.

Also, Mark is said to have received over N500m from ex-President Goodluck Jonathan during the build-up to the 2015 presidential election.
