SGF Mustapha has been suspended by the APC, in a ward, in Adamawa state. The suspension has been opposed by the state chapter of the party, citing lack of ward power.

Why Boss Mustapha is on the hot seat
According to Muazu Kabiri, an official of the party in the Ward, Mustapha did not make significant contributions to the last general election.

In addition, Mustapha lost his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in both the presidential and the governorship polls.
The letter of suspension sent to Mustapha also cited his poor performance in the last election as the reason for his suspension.
