Saraki administered vaccines for Cerebral Spinal Meningitis (CSM) and Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV).

“We've lost about 800 people to Meningitis - this should not be the case. We must encourage families to take their children for vaccination,” the Senate President said after the exercise.

Saraki’s comments come during the commemoration of the World Immunization Week which holds from April 24-30 2017.
