According to SaharaReporters, Sambo recently underwent knee surgery in an undisclosed US hospital. It is believed that he is recuperating fine.

Report has emerged that former Vice President Namadi Sambo has been hospitalized in the United States since leaving office.

Mohammed Namadi Sambo was the Vice President in the Goodluck Jonathan-led administration, which handed over to President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29 2015.

However, critics have said that many officials who served in the Jonathan government are doing everything possible to avoid being probed by the incumbent government.
