Ex-Vice President turns 70 today

Atiku Abubakar was born on November 25, 1946 in Jada village, Adamawa State, formerly known as Gongola state.

He was Nigeria’s Vice President from 1999 to 2007 during the presidency of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Prominent Nigerians who have praised Atiku on his birthday include President Muhammadu Buhari and House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara among others.
