A statement by the group's national coordinator, Clem Aguiyi, read; “Former Governor Amaechi worked tirelessly for this era including taking some personal risks. During the period we were opposed to each other and luckily for him his side won the election. If the President needs him as part of the cabinet’s team, his nomination should be allowed to go through. I don’t think President Buhari should be denied any tool he needs to work or be given an excuse to fail.”
