Actor rescues drunk man from burning car after traffic violations

Jamie Foxx has saved a man from a burning car after he was overspeeding under the influence of alcohol.

Burnt car

A traffic offender Brett Kyle, 32, has been rescued from a burning car, which was a result of drunk driving and overspeeding.

He was saved by Oscar-winning actor, Jamie Foxx, who braved the fire to get the 32-year-old out of the car.

California Highway reports say Kyle was driving "at a high rate of speed", which led to his truck overturning several times.

This caused a fire that trapped the driver until two men "ran to the burning, overturned truck in an attempt to free the driver."

"It struck a drainage pipe and concrete casing causing the vehicle to roll over multiple times. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side, and became engulfed in flames with Mr. Kyle trapped inside his vehicle. One of the witnesses retrieved a rescue tool from his vehicle allowing the two citizens to break the window, cut the seat belt, and extricate the driver."

Afterwards, the Police charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol.
