Court sentences 32-year-old driver for abusing FRSC officials
One driver's actions has led to his arrest, persecution and imprisonment.
After his arrest, Agu Passel of Gbazango, Kubwa was taken to an Abuja Grade 1 Area Court.
Babajide Olanipekun, the prosecutor told the court about a complaint concerning Passel's behaviour at the FRSC office at Federal Housing.
According to one DRC MS Umar, attached to the FRSC, Kubwa, the accused acted in a violent manner, insulted the FRSC officials by telling them that they were wearing a useless uniform.
The charges included the use of abusive language and inciting disturbance of public peace, offences contrary to sections 399 and 114 of the Penal Code.
Passel, the accused, plead guilty to the above charges.
He was sentenced to four months imprisonment, with a fine option of N20,000, by the judge, Mohammed Marafa.
