This year the male celebrities brought their A-game and looked absolutely dapper and stylish. However, only a few men stuck to this year’s theme of Manus x Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology.

The MET (Metropolitan museum of Art Costume Institute) Gala 2016 took place on 2nd May in NYC. It was a night of fun and daring fashion from all of your favorite celebrities.

Unlike other years, where the ladies outshined the men, this year the male celebrities brought their A-game and looked absolutely dapper and stylish. However, only a few men stuck to this year’s theme of

The ladies at the MET Gala were able to play around with the theme, as we witnessed a lot of sparkly, shiny, futuristic and glamorous looks at the star studded event. However, it’s generally harder for men to translate such a theme into their looks.

The few men who took the bold step included Will.i.am, who channeled a 'robocop' in an embroidered flower sleeve black Gucci suit with a face visor. Also, 17-year-old actor, Jaden Smith wore a non-traditional blazer, featuring a non-conventional collar and white detail running from the neckline down to the hem. He finished his look with black high heeled boots with gold details.

Other men who stuck to the theme included, Kanye West with his metallic denim jacket, Michael B. Jordan with a gold accented suit and cropped pants and Zayn Malik in an armored suit.
