In the behind-the-scenes footage, she talks about moving back home from an act of God, losing her step-dad, and finding out about auditions for 53 extra through friends, while still working at her mom’s restaurant, where she has been working for the past five years.
Edewor also mentioned that fashion was about ‘not fashion’ for her, as she doesn’t believe in trends. she also compared Lagos to New York in being able to express our individuality through style but in more diverse ways for Nigerians because we’re culturally rich.
In addition, the fashionista said that being distant from home creates more of a need to embrace culture. She added that it is important to stay true to your core culture while developing your personality.
