The Mai-Saa Northern spa launch took place on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Northern spa, 30 Providence street, Lekki phase 1, Lagos.

Mai-Saa Spa is a Northern traditional spa that allows you arrive into a rich world of culture, calm and tranquility. Mai-Saa Northern traditional beauty spa was borne out of the need to share the Northern Nigerian age long beauty secrets to you.

Guests learnt about the various services available such as Dukhaan/Duhrot (Smoke bath): this is a private beauty ritual using incense laced smoke to detoxify the skin also leaving it perfumed for days. This treat detoxifies and perfumes the body and also tightens the private areas of a woman.

The launch of the northern spa welcomed various guests such as Tayo Afolabi, Tuke Morgan, Raisa Hadiza, Deola Adebiyi, Nowe Isibor, Osas Ighodaro, Idia Aisien, Tonye Garrick, Maria Okan, Yummie Ogbebor, Taje Prest, Ify Igwe, Yemisi Misykona, amongst others.

The launch of the spa was sponsored by various media partners such as Pulse, Ebony life, Genevieve, Tribe & Elan, Fuze, Arcadia, Lost in Lagos, Sotectonic and many more, while the PR was handled by SoMe Solutions.

Guests were treated to delicious Northern food like Kunu, Kilishi, Suya, Masa and so muc-h more. It was a relaxing environment as guests were also treated to beautiful henna tattoos and sugar waxes.
