Sports Club to hold half marathon, 10km run 2016 Edition

The run will start off at 6:15 am with a gun blast from The Palms, Lekki, Lagos on November 19, 2016.

Last year, the race had 125 finishers who beamed with smiles and laughter. The Pacers Half Marathon & 10km Run 2016 hopes to host 200 runners to run for something: beat personal records, in honour of a friend or family, to kick cancer away, bragging rights though most importantly give your heart the love it deserves.

The run will start off at 6:15 am with a gun blast from The Palms, Lekki, Lagos on November 19, 2016. Runners will enjoy cheers from friends and family as they race along the course with sufficient water and replenishing stations to revitalise them. Also, the medical and technical team will be on ground to ensure that standards are adhered to strictly.

There are a lot of prizes up for grabs from our sponsors: Nike Nigeria, Zesty Juices, Spa Pampering at Home, Hapas Wellness and Claridon Hotel.

Bridge Pacers Sports Club commenced in 2014 and have successfully organised over 50 sporting events. The founding members are professionals that play in different sectors of the economy with a mutual passion- Running and fitness.

The objective of the race is to attract more Nigerians to distance running as it boosts one's persona in relation to discipline, agility and critical thinking.
