Actor shares challenges faced as an entertainer

In an exclusive chat, the actor spoke on the challenges he has faced as an entertainer. The actor who kicked off his career as a child actor, also spoke on transitioning.

“The major challenge was transiting from a child actor to an  adult actor , to doing it as a means to an end. At first it was more of fun and  passion, and there were several platforms that I could showcase what I could do.

Now transiting, Nollywood doesn't necessarily have scripts for young adults, most scripts are for  the fully grown adults - the married couple, the player, the psycho and you name it. You hardly see high school movies, high school musicals, dance movies for teenagers.

So at that point when I was transiting into doing this professionally, there wasn't really enough options for me to actually practise. So what I did was I spent the time training myself, getting the jobs that I could do.
