Asurf Oluseyi has released new behind the scenes clips for his upcoming movie

Also starring Ali Nuhu, Maryam Booth, Ibrahim Daddy, Isa Bello Ja, Rahama Sadau and Hadiza Soja, the film was shot in Kaduna and Lagos, Nigeria.

“Hakkunde” produced and directed by Oluseyi is the director’s first full length film. It was written by Oluseyi, Tomi Adesina and Gift Imafidon.

Synopsis

“Hakkunde” is an intriguing story of a young graduate who battles everything including love, family, discrimination, drug abuse, tradition and insecurity. It follows his journey to self-discovery and actualization.

The story is characterized by actions and reactions that defines the everyday Nigerian society, with its ups and downs and with a particular focus on the life of a job hunting graduate “Akande” who found himself in totality while searching for a job, and a better life.

On March 5, 2016, Asurf Oluseyi won the award for Best Short Film at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) for his production titled “A Day With Death”.

On May 5, 2016, the director premiered a short film titled "Hell or High Water” which challenges stereotypical narratives about sexuality and spirituality.
