Celebrities spotted at the event includes Judith Audu, Seun Oloketuyi, Stan Nze, Omawumi Dada, Frederick Leonard, Ijeoma Grace Agu, Nkem Owoh among others.

Winners of the 2016 Best of Nollywood Awards include Toyin Aimakhu and Yomi Fabiyi who won the best Yoruba actress and actor in a leading role. Other winners are "Something Wicked," Adesua Etomi, Judith Audu, Okey Uzoeshi among others.
