'Pirated films hawker tore my dress over October 1,' actress discloses

Popular Yoruba actress, Biodun Okeowo Sofuyi recently had her dress torn during an encounter with a pirated film hawker over a pirated copy of Kunle Afolayan's .

Narrating her experience to Afolayan and fans on Instagram, the Omo Butty star said she ensured she confiscated a copy of the pirated flick and had her dress torn in the process.

In her words, "I saw a pirated copy of Oct 1st today nd I rolled down to get one....having it in my hold,I asked d ibo guy where he got it from nd he said Alaba, I asked where in Alaba, from who? He said "u wan buy or not" nd I said he's a thief,that i'm gonna have him arrested,b4 I could say jack! he held my cloth nd struggle to get d film back from me but I quickly threw it at d back seat nd my driver rolled up....

"we pulled over after I realised he tore my dress when he struggled with me but on seeing me alight from d car,he scampered.I strongly blv we need to do something fast to help our industry ='( ...The Government we supported should support us now too!" she narrated.
