Bishop Oyedepo who has been tagged as Nigeria's richest pastor will be celebrating his 60th birthday on September 27, 2014

In Bishop David Oyedepo's biography, although he was born into an interfaith family (his father was Muslim and his mother a Christian) he got converted by a missionary teacher, Betty Lasher in February 19, 1969.
He grew up with his grandmother Racheal Adeyiola Odetundun, in Kwara state who also instilled Christian values in him.
His father Abraham Oyedepo who became a Christian , died in 2004 at the age of 102.

The popular pastor's mother, Dorcas Morenike Oyedepo worked as a Sanctuary Keeper at her son’s ministry until her death in 2011 at the age of 97.
