Africa Folder: The media company telling African stories the African way

Africa's leading informative media company, African Folder, launches its brand-new website, www.africanfolder.com, to document African culture, music, history, movies, startups, fashion, and more.

Before now, the media has been unable to document the fairest stories, events, or happenings in Africa, unfiltered or unaltered, for elite readers and information-seeking audiences. Africans in the diaspora, black Americans, and well-meaning people of colour have been denied accurate information about the beauty, history, culture, and technological innovations in Africa.

The brightest sides of Africa have been repeatedly overlooked by local and international media, thereby promoting only the darkest sides of Africa.

African Folder tasks itself with connecting the global audience to African culture through authentic content and immersive experiences in order to create a highly engaged community of informed black people worldwide and/or international communities or individuals in search of unfiltered information from and about the motherland.

The website features articles, videos, podcasts, and other forms of multimedia content, and it covers a range of countries and regions across the continent.

The media company employs the services of human and AI writers in its quest to document African stories for global consumption. So far, it has had AI writers like Enoch Kenyatta and Bisi Ademola.

The website profiles entrepreneurs, industry stakeholders, creatives, and artists such as Pawzz, Wizard Chan, and others in its quest to archive African stories and project African creatives and innovations. Some reviews, such as the Davido Timeless album review and the Shanty Town movie review, have already been published.
