This is the Bluetooth speaker I'd recommend to everyone I know

It's small, light, waterproof, durable, inexpensive, and it sounds good. What more could you want for $100?

There's a huge range of Bluetooth speakers out there to chose from, but the choice is pretty easy when it comes to Ultimate Ears' Wonderboom.

At $100, the Wonderboom is small, light, waterproof, durable, inexpensive, and it sounds good. You can take it anywhere to deliver music in pretty much any situation.

It won't blow you away with its sound quality, but it's still pretty great considering its size and price tag, and it's plenty loud to boot.

Check out the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom:

Ultimate Ears' Wonderboom is a small, lightweight Bluetooth speaker you can bring anywhere.

The Wonderboom is about the same size and weight of a softball. It doesn't take up much room on a table or anywhere else you want to put it. It's also light enough that you can easily carry it by the tiny strap with your pinky. Anyone who carries outdoor stuff out, and then back in at the end of the day, will appreciate that.

You can also use the Wonderboom's strap to hook it onto your clothing or backpack while you carry it around.

Its rubberized plastic exterior is soft and durable so you won't worry about dropping or damaging it. All you need to worry about is remembering to bring it wherever you're going.

It's easy to use and has no bells and whistles.

The Wonderboom is almost as basic as it's going to get, and that's a good thing. There's an on button, a Bluetooth pairing button, playback controls, and big volume up/volume down buttons on the front.

The most advanced piece is the Wonderboom's ability to pair with another Wonderboom speaker. I haven't tried it myself, but I can see it being useful it you wanted to deliver music equally to different parts of a room or outdoor setting. You can pair another Wonderboom using the "UE" button in the middle of the speaker's top.

However, this speaker doesn't work with the Ultimate Ears app, which bigger Ultimate Ears models use for things like equalizer settings. Those who like that feature won't be happy with the Wonderboom.

The Wonderboom is totally waterproof.

It's waterproof, not simply water resistant. That means you can submerge the Wonderboom entirely underwater or leave it outside during a rain storm and not worry about it at all. It also floats so you can grab it easily if you accidentally dropped in a pool or other body of water.

While the Wonderboom isn't designed for underwater listening, you can hear the music it produces surprisingly well while underwater. That said, you have the keep the Wonderboom afloat so that the water doesn't cut off he Bluetooth connection with your mobile device.

It sounds surprisingly good, but don't expect a revelation in Bluetooth audio.

For its size and price, the Wonderboom delivers surprisingly good sound for a Bluetooth speaker, and even more surprisingly good bass. Its audio quality isn't at the same level as Bose's SoundLink Mini II Bluetooth speaker, which has amazingly good sound for a Bluetooth speaker. With that said, the Wonderboom is $80 cheaper, more durable, and more portable.

If you're looking to get good sound in the outdoors, you could do a lot worse than the $100 Ultimate Ears Wonderboom.

You can buy the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom from Amazon for $80 at the time of writing, and there are six colors to chose from. I'd certainly recommend it for anyone who wants a simple, good, inexpensive Bluetooth speaker.
