<h1>On the 17th July 2020, tagged&nbsp;#NoCorruptionDay, we are joined by dedicated citizens; the likes of MI Abaga, Alex Ekubo, Osas Igodaro, Lillian Esoro, Jeff Bankz &amp; others - who are willing to use their platforms to share this powerful message and also supported by agencies; Accountability Lab and Yiaga.We have activities centered around #NoCorruptionDay geared towards tackling corruption through mindset reorientation.&nbsp;</h1>

In 2019, SERAP undertook a survey to assess and highlight key behavioural and belief patterns about corruption across Nigeria. The survey birthed the <a href="http://serap-nigeria.org/download-seraps-norms-report.ngo/">Anti-Corruption</a> <a href="http://serap-nigeria.org/download-seraps-norms-report.ngo/">Social</a> <a href="http://serap-nigeria.org/download-seraps-norms-report.ngo/">Norms</a> <a href="http://serap-nigeria.org/download-seraps-norms-report.ngo/">Report</a>.&nbsp;

This report found that 40% of respondents do not believe in the possibility of successfully ending corruption in Nigeria. 43.3 % do not believe they have a role to play in the change dings lend credence to the idea that corruption has become a Nigerian norm. 71% of research respondents were found to depend on the internet and Social media to reset social norms and get information so naturally, these media became the avenues to prioritize to help policy makers and Anti-corruption agencies effectively reach Nigerians.

Marking #NOCORRUPTIONDAY on the 17th of July would be the final lap of a sensitization journey. The journey that will begin about 10 days before will involve a <a href="http://www.quiz-maker.com/QCJN6YCQ">quiz</a> that highlights the role individuals play in perpetuating corruption, a tick-off list of corrupt practices we may unconsciously engage in daily &amp; a breakdown of relevant aspects of the report that could reshape the thinking of the average Nigerian.

The 24-hour #NoCorruptionDay challenge encourages people to commit to avoiding at least five (5) corrupt things they normally do and as such attempt to alter the corruption narrative across board.

It goes without saying that Covid-19 has affected the livelihoods of many Nigerians.

<h1>YouTube and ViacomCBS Networks Africa, with Idris Elba, have announced further additions to the “Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home” lineup.&nbsp;</h1>

The concert will be streamed on the<a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/MTVBaseAfrica322"> MTV Base Africa YouTube channel</a> on Monday, May 25 at 18:00 CAT and broadcast on the network’s TV channels in Africa at 21:00 CAT.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The two-hour special will raise funds to support food and health needs for children and families in Africa affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, through the World Food Programme and UNICEF.&nbsp;

The concert will feature special messages from Trevor Noah, globally acclaimed comedian, author and host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”; reigning Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, renowned American actor Omari Hardwick, American rapper and actor Ludacris, multiple award winning artist Sean Paul, R&amp;B singer Anthony Hamilton, UN Goodwill ambassador and actress Nomzamo Mbatha, multi-talented rapper and actor, Fat Joe, and leading actor Winston Duke.&nbsp;

The show will bring together a powerful lineup of performances from some of the most talented artists in Africa with the addition of Afrobeats superstars Davido (Nigeria), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Bebe Cool (Uganda), Busiswa (South Africa), Adekunle Gold (Nigeria), C4 Pedro (Angola), Reekado Banks (Nigeria), M.anifest (Ghana), Niniola (Nigeria), Salif Keita (Mali), DJ Maphorisa &amp; KABZA De Small (South Africa) and Toofan (Togo).&nbsp;

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lives of many and disrupted economic activity, increasing the threat to food security and children’s survival and wellbeing. UNICEF and the UN World Food Programme are working together to save lives and support millions of people, the bulk of whom live on the African continent. All funds raised from the concert will be donated to their work to support COVID-affected communities in Africa.&nbsp;
