A 41-21 third quarter propelled the East's top seeds at Barclays Center in Brooklyn as the Hawks sealed a 4-2 series victory.

Paul Millsap was nine-of-15 from the field for 25 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks, who will face the Washington Wizards in the next round.

Atlanta team-mates DeMarre Carroll and Kyle Korver scored 20 points apiece as the Hawks farewelled an eight-year-old fan.

Leukaemia sufferer Lake Bozman signed a one-day contract with the Hawks on April 7 as part of Bert's Big Adventure - a non-profit charity - but the young boy lost his cancer battle earlier on Friday.
