'The Twighlight Saga' star joins 'Suicide Squad'

According to Variety, another actor has joined the cast of upcoming 2016 American superhero film 'Suicide Squad'.

The latest cast, Alex Mera, is popular for his role as Paul Lahote in The Twilight Saga.

This addition is coming after Oscar award winning rapper, Common, was enlisted to also star in movie.

Directed by David Ayer, the movie stars Jared Leto as the Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

'Suicide Squad' also stars Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola David, Adam Beach, Ike Barinholtz, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Common and Scott Eastwood.

Suicide Squad is an upcoming 2016 American superhero film based on the DC Comics anti-hero team of the same name. It is intended to be the third installment in the DC Comics' shared universe films

Currently filming, 'Suicide Squad' will hit theatres on August 5, 2016.
