Arsenal midfielder is EPL's king of assist

Despite just arriving in 2013, Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil has become the player with the all time highest number of assists in the English Premier League.

The Germany international has often been blasted by critics for not showing enough commitment in football, but stats have showed that the pundits are wrong.

According to stats, Ozil has 21 assists in 57 Arsenal games, which means that the former Real Madrid midfielder creates a goal every 2.71 games.

He assisted Arsenal's opener in their 2-1 win over Everton on Saturday, October 24 taking him past Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, who registered 56 assists in 156 Premier League games (an average of one every 2.79 games).

In the top 10 EPL assist list, Arsenal have six of their players (past and present).
