Rapper shares 'unseen' parts of Cape Town in 'Le Mpitse' video

This is a music video/short film by Kyle White and Cassper Nyovest.

It’s titled ‘Welcome To South Afric’a and it shows another side of Cape Town which you never see on TV.

The short film was shot in a township called Ravensmead in Cape Town. It shows a day in the life of a resident and the kids in the township and what they are exposed to including gangsterism and drug abuse.

Cassper Nyovest wanted to shoot in this style be he wanted to show what kind of environment he grew up in but managed to make it out and inspire other kids by saying “It don’t matter where you come from”.”
