Singer-actor Tomi Odunsi plays the young local  and entertaining‘Shalewa’, Dan Ade-Williams and Titi K's estranged daughter on M-Net’s hit Soap Opera, “Tinsel”.

For years the character Shalewa entertained viewers with her hilarious accent and diction.

In this interview with Pulse Nigeria, the actress spoke on her 'Tinsel' experience. She also spoke on what she has learnt from the character 'Shalewa.'

"Being on Tinsel has been an amazing journey. I have been on it for five years, and we have all been like one big family," she said on Tinsel experience.

"The experience has been good, acting alongside professional cast and crew. So I get to learn from them everyday," she added .

On learning from Shalewa, she said;

"What I have really learnt from Shalewa is 'be yourself.' "If you speak with a Yoruba accent, don't try to form posh. Speak it. Whoever will love and be your friend, will be."  she said.
