McLaren driver, F1 World Champion ties the knot with model wife on New Year's Day

British number two Formula One (F1) star driver for McClaren, Jenson Button who tied the knot with lingerie model Jessica Michibata, following their engagement last year.

The 34-year-old elevated the single status of Argentine-Japanese model at a lavish ceremony in Hawaii in the early hours of New Year's day.

The couple started dating in 2008 and since then have never been aprat from each other.

"He told me he wants to get married - he said he is the marrying type. If Jenson wins the title we will celebrate by him getting down on one knee. He told me I am the one for him. I hope he means it," Michibata said way back in 2009.

The pair got engaged after Button popped the question on Valentine's Day 2014 with a ring reported to be worth 250,000 pounds.

Button, the 2009 F1 World Champion from Frome, Somerset, wrote: "Happy New Year from Mr & Mrs Button!! We're excited to see in the New year with family and loved ones."
