Do not be deceived by the cute name for this workout routine, because it would have you sweating buckets in seconds flat.

With the name "bunny hop", it may sound cute and easy, but this powerful plank variation burns fat and builds muscle at the same time.

This jumping action of this plyometric move will get your heart rate soaring, but your abs will be burning as you twist from side to side.

Keep a steady pace to make the most of this fast-paced exercise.

Here is a step by step break down of the Plank bunny hop.

  • Begin in a plank position with your feet touching.
  • Pull your abs in, and jump your feet to the right, bringing your knees toward your right elbow. Your torso will twist to the right.
  • Jump your feet back to plank to complete one rep.
  • Repeat on the other side, and continue alternating sides for 20 reps total.
