This Apple anniversary device is not your regular iPhone
Apple is celebrating a decade after the release of the first iPhone with a new addition to the iPhone series, iPhone X.
iPhone X, which is pronounced iPhone 10 or can also be referred to as "exclusive" was announced by the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook at an unveiling event held at the new Steve Jobs Theater on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.

The new iPhone X has several features that distinguished it from the ones before it. One of the unique features is the addition of face ID authentication technology which has replaced the old fingerprint format.
What this means is that you can now unlock your iPhone with your facial expression. Apple is putting that facial recognition technology to work on a new class of emoji called “animoji,” which users can animate using facial movements.
According to Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Phil Schiller, the facial ID has been perfected to learn over time so you don't get locked out of your phone simply because you grew a beard.
The picture quality produced by the 12-megapixel dual cameras with dual OIS and quad-LED True Tone flash is the reason why picture freaks, selfie-merchants, and maybe professional photographers should buy this phone.
If durability and sleekness are what you crave for, the 5.8-inch display with 2436x1125-pixel resolution Super Retina display, glass and stainless steel design easily ticks those boxes.
In addition, that huge screen doesn’t include a home button, which Apple has replaced with bevy of sensors packed into a small cutout below the top bezel.
With 64GB and 256GB storage capacity options which allow you to store audio, video, image and other files on end, the new iPhone X is surely the dream of every gadget lovers especially those with a knack for keeping large files.
Another fascinating feature is the wireless charging. This new device supports wireless charging thanks to its new, glassy front and back.
The new iPhone X costs N359,640 ($999) and will be available for pre-order starting October 27, while shipping will begin on November 3, 2017.
