NNPC boss keeps mum on Kachikwu's allegation of humiliation

Baru, who was in Ibadan for a project by NNPC, refuses to comment on the allegations leveled against him by the Minister.

Following a letter dated August 30, 2017 to President Muhammadu Buhari by Kachikwu, the country is agog over the allegations and cries of the chairman of the NNPC board.

Baru, who was in Ibadan for a project by NNPC,  refused  to comment  on the allegations leveled against him by the Minister when approached by newsmen for his reaction.

The letter, which found its way to the media and internet, saw Kachikwu complaining about activities of Baru since his appointment as the NNPC GMD a year ago.

Meanwhile, Kachikwu has condemned the leakage of the letter to the President saying "It is most distressing to the ministry of petroleum resources that a confidential communication to the President on the performance of one of its parastatals can be made public.

It had been reported that Kachikwu wrote a letter to Buhari complaining of disregard for official processes by Dr Maikanti Baru, Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)
