Couple's wedding set to be a supreme celebration of love & life

Banky's positivity defies his recent health challenge and sets a cheerful tone for his and Adesua Etomi's forthcoming traditional wedding.

Banky says that his absence from the public has been due to the sudden reappearance of a rare strain of skin cancer around his shoulder. So he had to get a third surgery in last month, more than ten years after the first two surgeries.

Thankfully, he pulled out of the operation safely with sweetheart, Adesua Etomi, and family beside him through it all.

In all of this, one great impression left on us is Mr Kapable’s positivity.

A bright, optimistic attitude which beautifully sets the tone for his and Adesua’s traditional wedding ceremony one week from now.

We reported here that the “Wedding Party” stars will have that ceremony in Lagos on November 19 2017 and Banky’s positive attitude towards his recent health issue creates a little insight into what to expect of that ceremony.

In his Viral IG post, Mr. W says that his recent bout with cancer “isn't a sad story as much as it is a reminder, and a testimony…  about the goodness of God.”

“I think I had to go through this again to remember how merciful God is to me; Lord knows I don't deserve it but he saves me time and again anyway,” he says.

This is obvious gratitude. It's refreshingly encouraging  that regardless of how difficult the procedure must have been, the man still chooses to be thankful for life and love and… his beloved Susu.

"I'm especially thankful to my Nurse Susu for loving me and being by my side every step of the way - I don't deserve you,” he writes.

With the ceremony coming, one gets the feeling that it’ll be a sort of thanksgiving ceremony as well.

And it’s just perfect that Banky has rightly chosen an attitude of optimism and gratitude over one of of pity and worry.

“Please don’t feel bad, or message me with any worries. God has done it, just thank Him for me.

“The pain will eventually go away but the scar won't - and I'm glad because it's a reminder to me of what God has done, and evidence to you of what he can do,” he says.

He adds that he’s finally back on his feet, feeling stronger and ready to get back to life.

With this recent, and hopefully, final triumph over cancer, Banky W’s wedding ceremony really does hold a lot of promise now.

It won’t be a pity party. Expect celebration, unbridled emotions, best of family, friends and true romance.

One gets the feeling that it’ll be a wedding, thanksgiving service and a celebration of love and life all rolled into one.

Sickness has obviously got nothing on Banky and his positive outlook on life. So his nuptials with Susu should be just as romantic, loving and lit as we’ve always looked forward to.

No shaking.
