Entertainers, politicians stun at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos as Mama Bakassi turned 70-years

On Sunday, February 21, Senator Princess Florence Ita-Giwa (OON) clocked 70-years. She celebrated her birthday in style,class and glamour at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. She also celebrated her 10-years of service to Humanity.

It was an evening full of surprises and merriments as Senator Florence Ita-Giwa popularly known as Mama Bakassi on Sunday, February 21, clocked 70-years. To celebrate her new age among other achievements, countless successes and riches, Ita Giwa celebrated her birthday at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos and was much attended by her family, friends, well-wishers, Nigerian celebrities among others. Nigerian entertainers in attendance includes, Nollywood actress Ini Edo, Rita Dominic, Annie Idibia, Genevieve Nnaji, Comedian Ali Baba, Mr Ibu, music artists Harrysong, Kcee, Inyanya, 2baba, D'banj, Pasuma, Timi Dakolo, Olu Maintain, Ovation Magazine boss Dele Momodu, Honourable Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi, ex-governors of Cross River state and Ogun State Donald Duke,Chief Olusegun Osoba respectively, and other top dignitaries.

Being the celebrant Ita-Giwa was dressed in a red body-fitting flowing dress with dazzling silver and red stones and a pair of silver and red earrings and silver clutch purse while her mighty cake of over 6 steps was decorated in white and red flowers with a silver chandelier standing in between the cakes. Aside celebrating her birthday, Ita-Giwa also seized the opportunity to celebrate her 10th year anniversary of her duty to humanity tagged “The Joy of Service to Humanity”, as she presented plaques to important personalities.
