Designers, Models And Ankara Lovers Take Note! Ankara Festival Comes To Town

The Ankara Festival is drawing close with every passing day and plans are in high gear to ensure a hitch free successful event. The fashion show is billed to hold at the National theatre, Iganmu, Lagos on 2nd and 3rd November 2012. Ankara festival is the brain child of Entertainment Thrust Limited in conjunction with LASTFADAN (Lagos State Tailors and Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria) and is aimed at providing a platform for indigenous street designers to launch their talent to the world.

This grass root event is one of its kind and will feature 100 contemporary designers which will all be exhibited at the show. There will also be guest designers to parade their dynamic, edgy and stylish designs on the run way.

Also in the works is a top class monthly FASHION MAGAZINE which would be released after the event. Ankara Festival would be streamed live on the internet over the two days so viewers at home can also be part of the historical event. Audition for interested designers to exhibit at this event is scheduled for 5th and 6th October 2012 at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.

The strong minds behind this event are Akinola Kongi - Chief Executive Officer, Entertainment Thrust Limited, Hakeem Sulyman - Chief Operating Officer, Entertainment Thrust Limited, Chief Daramola, President, LASTFADAN, Chief Tajudeen Ogundele, 1st VP, LASTFADAN, Alhaji Olayinka Sodiq, Executive Secretary, LASTFADAN.
