The Jerseys that are close look-alikes to that of the Super Eagles

For Nigeria, Nike released the most talked about kit of the World cup but was the design unique?

It is no secret that the Super Eagles have won the Most Fashionable awardin Russia, with their very stylish jerseys designed by Nike.

"As the Nigerian National Team steps into this summer's tournament, the world will know they've arrived. The federation's infectious charisma shines through in the flamboyant Nigeria collection"  the popular sports brand writes on their site about the National team collection, "Featuring a travel suit, anthem jacket, training apparel, pre-game shirt, bucket hat and kits, the Nigeria collection will stand out in the stadium and on the street."

Even with the loss against Croatia on June 16, the Jerseys made the team stand bright and out from their opponents. The same can be said about fans all over the world who wore the jerseys in support of the team.

The main jersey has a feather-pattern which took its cue from the Eagle, hinting at the supposed uniqueness of the collection.

On the Eagle-Inspired design, Nike writes:

"The central design theme is an abstract feather pattern inspired by the team's "Super Eagles" nickname. Last seen during Nigeria's 1994 appearance on the world stage, the design has been enlivened to capture the energy of the 2018 team."

Moving forward, the same "feather-pattern" has been spotted as part of the design of world cup collection of the following teams: Korean Republic National Team "The Reds", the Australian National team "The Socceroos" and the Saudi Arabia National Team "The Green Falcons". Interestingly, they are all also designed by Nike.

The designs are similar but not the same, though.

However, none of these teams have this design as their official home or away jersey -  they only wear them for warm up or training, and for the substitutes to sit on the bench.
