Film starring Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Okey Uzoeshi opens in cinemas

Plagued by abject poverty, they struggle daily to survive against all odds as life taunts them with new challenges.

Directed by Teco Benson, "Blood in the Lagoon" which stars Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Okey Uzoeshi, tells the story of two brothers living in the slums of the waste deluged Lagos Lagoon.

An unprecedented event leads to the murder of one of the brothers and ends his dream. However, George, takes up his brother’s dream and forges on ahead into making it a reality. What does fate have in store for him along the way when he meets the beautiful Scarlet.

The movie producer, Jerry Padney, has said the success of the movie in the cinema has further strengthened his decision to invest more in Nigerian movie industry.

The graduate of Film and TV production at Oklahoma State University and the University of Houston, reiterated his commitment to the production of great movies, having worked on various Hollywood productions such as the classic Robocop.

Padney also hinted that a movie fan will be rewarded with an all-expense paid trip to Houston, Texas after watching the movie at the cinemas.
