10 celebrity baby arrivals of the year

The birth of a child is a bundle of joy to every parent and when these babies are from celebrities then you can trust the buzz to be everywhere.

We take a look at 10 Nigerian celebrities who got blessed with babies in 2017.

1. Wizkid

Wizkid welcomed his third child in November 2017, with his manager, Jada Pollock. Even though his baby who he has named "Zion" was born in November, Wizkid makes the first position on this list as he surprised everyone as no one was expecting the star to have a child this yet and more shocking was the fact that it was his manager who had the child for him.

2. Davido

In May 2017, Davido and girlfriend, Amanda welcomed a baby girl making the child the second of the two children Davido has. He named her Hailey Veronica Adeleke. Davido has two daughters and they both have different mothers.

3. Paul Okoye

Paul Okoye best suits the third position on our list as he welcomed a set of twins in July 2017 making him one of the two celebrities on this list who welcomed set twins this year. Even though the birth of the twins according to Paul Okoye got some people jealous, it was a bundle of joy for the Okoyes as they welcomed their babies.

4. D'banj

2017 was a definitely a good year for music star, Dbanj as he became a father for the first time. He like other celebrities on this list welcomed a baby boy with wife, Lineo Didi Kilgrow in May 2017. He named the baby Daniel after himself.

5. Patoranking

Even though no one was expecting this, Patoranking announced the arrival of his baby in August 2017 with a yet to be identified lady. Patoranking who has quite a private life didn't reveal much information about the child and the mother.

6. Harrysong

Even though the year started on a low note for the music star because of his legal issues with his former record label, Five Star Record, his joy knew no bounds in June 2017 as he welcomed a set with his girlfriend. He named the boy 'Perez' and the baby girl 'Tare' which he said was a name adopted from his own name, Tarela.

7. Runtown

Runtown became a first-time father in June 2017 as he welcomed a baby boy with his girlfriend, Selena Leath. A very excited, Runtown announced the arrival of the baby, Zamar on his Instagram page and was congratulated by his teeming fans.

8. Illbliss

Now, this was probably the miracle of the year as rapper Illbliss welcomed his first child after eight years of marriage. The rapper who got married to his wife, Munachi in 2009 received their bundle of joy in July 2017. An obviously super excited Illbliss took to his Instagram page to make the announcement of the birth of their baby girl.

9. EmmaOhMyGod

The multi-talented On Air-Personality and comedian joined the first time fathers club in 2017. The humorous OAP and his wife, Yetunde Shode welcomed their first child in April 2017. The adorable couple who got hitched back in November 2016, named their daughter, Feranmi.

10. Dolapo Oni

Dolapo Oni joined the first time parents in 2017 as she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy in August 2017.

The presenter and actress who got married to one of the sons of the late Ooni of Ife's son, Adegbite Sijuwade back in 2016 in a very flamboyant wedding ceremony, took to her Instagram page to announce the arrival of her baby.
