The Federal Government has been urged to invest more in education in to order to position the country for development.

Nigeria will only develop if more investments are made in the education sector says former PDP scribe, Chief Ọlagunsoye Oyinlọla.

“The Federal Government should invest more in the education sector. It is a critical sector which must be given attention for any nation to develop," Oyinlola said.
The PDP stalwart who recently enrolled at NOUN lamented the poor ranking of Nigerian universities in international circles.
According to him, increased funding will result in better ranking of Nigerian universities.
“Nigeria will be greater if we invest more in the education sector and Nigerian universities will rank among the best in the world with the proper funding of the sector”.
The retired Brigadier-General is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology at NOUN.
He became governor of Osun State in May 2003, securing re-election in 2007.
On the 26th of November 2010, the Court of Appeal in Ibadan nullified his election.
