The University of Ibadan, Oyo State has conferred Aliko Dangote, the president, Dangote Group, with a honorary degree.

Dangote received a Doctor of Science recognition at the 68th Foundation Day ceremony held at the university campus.
This marks the 100th honorary degree presented by the university in its 68 years of existence.
The award is only one of many received by the philanthropist who is considered one of the richest man in Africa.
