4 reasons why God loves you

At our loneliest times, it helps to remember why God loves us.

Have you recently experienced a tough breakup, or do you feel as if your life is one rejection after another? No doubt, the ones we love most might sometimes disappoint us the greatest.

But there is one upon whom we can count always: God.

At our loneliest times, it helps to remember that he loves us; and here’s why.1. He Created You - Yes, no matter where we live or what we do, our beginnings are from God. We are created in his likeness and image; and he loves each of us because of this.

2. He Knows You - God knows each of us by name, and more. Even before we speak to him, he knows the words on our lips and the intent of our soul.

In his infinite knowledge, God sees the goodness in us and the desire we have to walk with Christ. And because of this, he loves us.

3. He Accepts You - God knows we are human, with strengths and weaknesses, moments of stellar heroism and times of failing. He accepts each of us as we are, desiring to give us the strength and courage to live lives of holiness. Because of this, he loves us.

4. He Needs You - God’s need is not weak; he is over all and all powerful.

But you, his beloved child, are created in his image and likeness for a purpose, his purpose.

God needs you to be light for the world and a witness to Jesus Christ. Knowing you, delighting in you, accepting you, God showers his love upon you, now and forever.
