Tony Tetuila's 'My car' received massive airplay on radio and television back in the early 2000s.

In 2001, the song was released under Kennis Music which is a record label owned by Kenny 'Keke' Ogungbe, and Dayo 'D1' Adeneye.

The singer/rapper was once a member of 90s hip hop group Remedies that included Eedris Abudulkareem and Eddie Montana. The group split up in 1999, following Tetuila’s decision to pursue a solo career.

On 'My car' featuring Pastor Goody Goody the artist delivers his lyrics in Pidgin English and Yoruba. In one of the scenes of the video of ‘My car’, where his car gets bumped into at a police check point, the artist took jabs at his former group member Abudulkarim insinuating it was the rapper who hit his Mercedes.

In 2014, the singer whose real name is Anthony Olarenwaju Awotoye decided to give politics a shot.
