Chiwetalu Agu joins cast of sequel

Nollywood actress Chiwetalu Agu has joined cast of the anticipated sequel, "The Wedding Party 2."

The actor who is popular for his hilarious slangs was spotted on set of the movie alongside the sequel's lead characters, Nonso (Enyinna Nwigwe) and Deirdre (Daniella Down).

Agu joins the cast a day after it was announced that Patience Ozokwor AKA Mama G will feature in the romantic comedy.

The veteran actors join existing cast members Sola Sobowale, RMD, Ireti Doyle, Ali Baba, Ikechukwu the Rapper, Saka, Omoni Oboli, Seyi Law, Chugurl among others.

"The Wedding Party" sequel follows the romance between Nonso (Enyinna Nwigwe) and Deirdre (Daniella Down), the bridesmaid from London.

The drama and chaos begins after Nonso accidentally proposes to her, while on a dinner date.

A collaboration between EbonyLife Films, FilmOne Distribution, Koga Studios and Inkblot Productions, the sequel is directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.
