Singer releases debut album "Seyi or Shay"

Seyi Shay has released her debut album, “Seyi or Shay”.

The album “Seyi or Shay” expresses the two sides of Seyi Shay and her music. Seyi is meant to portray the homely, traditional good girl and Shay portrays her eccentric, international and outrageous side.

The new LP is a 19-track LP with features from numerous star artistes from Nigeria including Wizkid, Phyno, Cynthia Morgan, Sound Sultan, Olamide, Patoranking, Shaydee, Timaya, BOJ, Femi Kuti, D’banj, Banky W, and Iyanya.

On the build-up to the release, Seyi Shay has released a trailer of what to expect from her debut album ‘Seyi or Shay’ and it was directed by Meji Alabi.

The ominous clip which runs for just over a minute shows the singer and her dual personality, as she navigates through a haunted house in a bid to escape the voices in her head. She eventually comes face to face with her other side.

Shay has revealed that “Seyi or Shay” features songs produced from the likes of Harmony Samuels, TY Mix, Legendury Beatz, Del B,Dokta Frabz, and much more.
