'My album will be one of the best out this year' E.M.E singer says

The album which he said will drop in July is an expression of him and his experiences, and is privileged to have collaborations with a long list of artistes including Reminisce, Banky W, Niyola, Iyanya, 2baba, Wizkid, Phyno, Flavour, Ice Prince, Burna Boy and more saying the songs have meaning and will stand the test of time.

On the direction of the sound of the album, he describes it as a mix of trap. R&B, House, reggae, Afro beat, playing around everything he could possibly do.

“I really wanna show my fans I got so much music in me, I got too much to offer, I’m excited when I make music, when I make different types of music, and I hope fans that listen to the song will feel the same way about the songs, I’m excited.”

The smooth singer revealed there are 21 tracks on the album, of which five have been pre-released.

On what he feels about the industry preferring singles to albums, the singer feels it depends on the artiste’s situation, saying everybody’s timing, project and vision is different, adding that he feels now is the time for him to drop a body of work that would speak for him after a long time.

He also describes his relationship with Banky W, adding that they are cool with each other and no issues or hassles exists presently between him and his label boss.

Shaydee is banking on the album to have a strong impact, affirming it’s going to be one of the best albums to be out this year, and lovers of good music will attest to it.

According to Banky W, Shaydee’s album will be everyone’s favourite for the year 2016, while his own album will come in at 2nd, 3rd or 4th place.
