Tinsel actress turned singer speaks on musical career

Sefiya Ibrahim, Tinsel actress turned musician gives us a hint of what her musical career has been so far in this Pulse TV interview.

Speaking to the Afro-pop singer, she talks about her foray into the music scene shortly after she got a minor role in the TV series .

Sefiya started off in the entertainment industry as a model, then moved on to secure roles in TV series including Tinsel, and .

After a few years in the motion picture scene, Sefiya finally decided to take a step into the music scene. Speaking on her challenges, she says; "The first challenge i ever faced was people accepting the fact that i want to do music because a lot of people knew me as a model, others knew me as the girl that just did Tinsel... It was a gradual process and the first song i ever released didn't even sound Nigerian."
