Runtown has settled the rift between him and his label Eric Many entertainment.
The singer has over the past couple of weeks been in a legal battle with label over contract breaches, emotional abuse and disrespect.
According to new information being reported, the pop singer and his boss Ukwudili Umenyiora resolved to settle the case out of court with the help of the Olaniwun Ajayi law firm, following a court hearing on June 14, 2016 in New York.
The new deal which was fashioned with contribution by all parties, will see Runtown spend one more year in EricMany Entertainment, but with greater control over his work, his numeration, and finances.
‘"Runtown and Dilly agreed to settle out of court and Runtown will remain with the label for one more year but its now more of a partnership deal because it gives Runtown more control,’"a source told NET.
There are also reports that Runtown is looking towards the future, as he has concluded plans to set up an independent record label. The new outfit will be named ‘Power In The Music (PITM), and will have the singer as the CEO.
